Beat email overload with Gmail Priority Inbox
We here at Gmail Secrets have been helping Google test their new Priority Inbox feature for about six weeks now. The verdict is in: For those of us who get too much email (I think that's everyone, right?), Priority Inbox is almost as much of a game changer in the fight against email overload as Gmail's insanely superior anti-spam filtering was in the fight against unsolicited commercial email. Today, Google announced that Priority Inbox in Gmail is now available to all Google Apps domains, not just those who participate in testing pre-release features. If you haven't tried Priority Inbox in Gmail, it's ...

Will this lead to the Obama administrations adoption of Google Apps for federal agencies? What does this mean for Microsoft? Check out ...
Offline Access for Gmail is Here!
At long last, offline access is here for Gmail. Offline access synchronizes your mail to your local computer, so you can continue to read, compose, and reply to messages even while not connected to the Internet. As soon as you get back online, Gmail connects automatically and sends your new messages to their recipients. Built on Google Gears, the same foundation underlying Google's successful offline document collaboration system in Google Docs, offline Gmail closes one of the glaring gaps between Gmail and competing offerings from Microsoft and Yahoo. The initial release is released via Gmail Labs for US and UK English ...
